Steal Celeb Tots' Baby Doll Stroller Style

Jennifergarner011808_29_cbb_2_2

When my 22-month-old son sees a stroller, there is no stopping him — he goes straight for it without a second thought!  The temptation of the moving wheels and the handlebars is too much for him to stand and by the looks of it, the same goes for celebrity tots as well.  Lately, when it comes to famous toddlers pushing their own wheels down the streets of Hollywood (or anywhere else for that matter!), no child seems to be left behind.

From Heidi Klum and Seal‘s oldest son Henry, 2 ½, who was spotted pushing a Chicco Baby Doll Stroller ($38) during an ice-cream outing, to Sofia Coppola‘s 18-month-old daughter Romy, who walked the streets of Paris with her baby doll and stroller in tow, and even the ever-adorable Violet Anne Affleck, 2 ½, who proudly pushed her Doll Zooper Stroller ($59) while out at The Grove with her mom Jennifer Garner back in January, a baby doll stroller for your little one is a must-have.

When it comes to expert stroller pushers, there seems to be no difference in the drivers, as we see both boys and girls taking part in the fun.  On the parents’ end, isn’t the idea of teaching these tots to be loving and gentle little people what it’s all about?  After all, we shouldn’t forget that a lot of these cute little kids will one day be future parents to their own (real life) children!

I love the Fisher Price Rainforest one, at $25 that’s a steal! It has so many removable pieces and is a very versatile toy. Love it!

OOH How much would I love a dolly sized bugaboo for my daughter !!

It was my all time favourite stroller and I actually cried when I sold it as no more babies for me :O(

A dolly sized one would be soooooooooooo cool !

I got my daughter an umbrella stroller for her to push her dolly around in, for $2-3 at the flea market. What’s the point of paying so much money for stuff??

Cute toys, but I had a child (especially a daughter) I’d probably buy the $4 – $11 strollers from those stores or even a dollar store like Family Dollar or Dollar General. (The items there don’t usually cost only $1, for that you’d go to Dollar Tree, but the prices are usually rounded off to the nearest dollar for bargain shopping.)

Anyway I remember that when I was a child I had a yellow & orange grocery cart that was made from a rubbery composite plastic called Tuff Stuf (or maybe that was the brand), which I used as a doll buggy. It would pretty durable and I think I’d get something of quality, if affordible. I used to like those egg-shaped, pink, Fisher Price doll buggies with a metal handle too, but I don’t know if they’re made anymore. :(

I really like the Chicco stroller because it’s tall — good for taller kids. But honestly we have two of the Graco umbrella doll strollers that were on sale for $5 and they work perfectly. The best thing about them are that you can find patterns that aren’t girly — we have a red and black one for Connor.

I bought my daughter one from American Girl, the double jogging stroller that holds the bitty twins for $58. It’s soooo cute!

We bought my daughter a pink circles single Maclaren stroller at Toys R Us for $12. She loves it, it even has a hood to keep the sun out of the doll’s eyes, lol…

Btw, Autumn I had that grocery cart too! Tuff Stuff was a Little Tikes brand, I think.

I would have died for the Fisher-Price Rainforest Twin Doll Stroller when I was little. Heck even at 23 I would love it for my future children ;)

We have the Graco travel system stroller for my niece and she LOVES it! She thinks that it’s the coolest thing in the world that her baby can be placed in the car seat and into the stoller at the same time, just like a real baby.
We also got her the Fisher Price rainforest one, but for some reason the fabric was very flimsy and kept ripping. Not the best money ever spent, but the Graco one has held up the best!

Brio makes a very pretty, very sturdy red wooden pram. My toddler was eager to push a stroller, but a good many of them seem very flimsy in the hands of an inexperienced walker. The pram is lower to the ground, and very sweet–we love it.

The little tikes classic stroller is a kid tough stroller that will last through childhood and it’s made in the USA. You have to buy it on their website though, because it’s not sold in stores. Too cute!
