I had bought this seat then returned it for the britax Monarch Racer and returned that one too.lol Reason one: we already had a Britax Regent that I tripped out in Racing patches for my son, he was complaining that he felt like he was in a baby seat and at age five I really could understand that. But after trying both seats my gut was telling me to put him back into the Regent, it was just so much safer, 2 weeks later we were in a very bad car accident, all of us were banged up but my son came away with not even a scratch, just a little shaken.
Reason two: It was annoying that he could not buckle himself in in these really large boosters, he has no problem in his cousins Graco booster and of course does his own harness in the Regent but in the Monterey and the Monarch he just could not do it and that was a plain old hassle! lol

One last thing: I never come on here to bash what others say we all have our own opinions BUT this atical which basicly states Owen got this new carseat due to his superiority complex is really sending out the wrong message. Let’s remember who the parent is. I am sure it was written in good fun with some humor added in there by why give in to this little one’s need to be a King with giving him a throne? It kind of goes beyond just some innocent make believe or pretend play. ((stepping off my soap box now)) lol

So natural but so elaborated are the posts that you can’t wait but stop and ask about the full sayings in it. Sometimes gives you the impression : why I hadn’t think of that.
