Aussie Adam Ramanauskas expecting first child

At the Essendon versus West Coast match last Friday night at Telstra Dome, a joke by female fans led to the revelation that AFL player Adam Ramanauskas, 27, and wife Belinda Henneman are expecting their first child together. Three women dressed in bridal gowns held up a sign saying, "Will you marry us?" at the game.

Among the laughs, Belinda shared that their first child together is due in October. This comes as welcome news for Rama and his wife, after he fought a much-publicized battle with cancer in both 2003 and 2006. Belinda added,

Yes, we’re delighted. What’s more, the baby is due almost 10 years to the day that Adam and I started dating, so it’s going to be a very special moment for us.
