Amy Jo Johnson unprepared for lack of energy during pregnancy

Felicity’s Amy Jo Johnson was ready to go to work when she began filming the new police drama Flashpoint. However, there was one thing that slowed the 37-year-old actress down — the first three months of her pregnancy.

I’m feeling great now because I’m past my first trimester, so I’ve got a lot more energy. It was a bit of a rough start for me, this [show] is a lot more intense and difficult than I thought it would be.

In the new series, Amy Jo is part of a Canadian Strategic Response Unit that rescues hostages and more. And while she wouldn’t be the first actress to have her pregnancy incorporated into a role, don’t expect it to happen with this one.

Definitely not. Although I am starting to show.

Amy Jo and her fiancé Olivier Giner expect their baby to arrive in late fall.  Be sure to catch the former Power Ranger in action when Flashpoint premieres on CBS on July 11th.

I hope they don’t name the baby Val or anything else that starts with a V. It would be bad bad bad with her husband’s last name! LOL

Her husband is probably French as seen the spelling of his first name so his last name is pronouced jee-nair

Colleen- you are hysterical LOL!

Actually, if the father’s last name is said with french pronunciation, it would sound more like jee-nay, and his first name would be said as O-liv-ee-ay.

Congratulations to Amy. 37 is not that old to be having a child. Hopefully she’ll deliver a healthy baby girl or boy.
