No music in son's future says Solange Knowles

Music and entertainment may have helped Solange Knowles become a success, but she doesn’t want her son Daniel Julez, 3 ½, following in her footsteps. Instead, the singer explains, "I’d love for him to be talented in other things. I hope that he wants to be a … computer engineer."

Although the 22-year-old is now divorced from Daniel’s father, Daniel Smith Jr., she is hoping to find love again and have more kids.

Maybe I’ll have two or three … or four.

Solange’s new album, Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams, will be released on August 26th.

I wasn’t aware Solange and her hubby had divorced, that’s so sad. I can’t wait till her new album comes out though, I think she’s just as talented as her sister!

im looking forward to solange’s album as well. i can understand her not wanting julez to necessarily be in music, seeing as her and beyonce are. but im thinking with such strong influences around him, he might go in that direction anyways lol!
