Venettini: Go from playground to party in the same shoe

Last season after sampling an insane amount of name-brands on my toddler daughter’s feet, I came across a brand called Venettini and quickly became smitten.  Dressing my daughter in the mornings became incredibly easy because her little hands reached for the Mary Janes that went with every outfit. I loved these shoes and so did my daughter so it was only logical that when looking for a summer sandal this same brand would be our first choice.

Though the wonderful people at Venettini were gracious enough to send us a large sampling, our go-to sandal for the summer has been the feminine version of the sporty pair pictured at left (ours are a light orange, green and beige). Made of the softest leather, these sandals are delicate enough to be worn for hours at a time but rough enough to withstand the daily trip to the playground.

And that, I think, is what is great about Venettini in general. These shoes are not only super-comfortable (I can attest to it as I just reviewed their adult line!) but also incredibly easy to look at. Furthermore, if you are the type of mom who can’t stand to have your kid in shoes that just don’t go with the outfit you’ve put on her, these are the shoes for you since they can literally go from the playground to a party without creating a fashion faux pas.

Whenever I look at these shoes my only regret is that I didn’t discover them a year earlier because I would have loved to have my daughter learn to walk in them.
