Adam Yauch talks about his "most psyched moment"

Beastie Boy member Adam Yauch, 43, has an array of awards and recognitions that he has received since entering into the music industry in 1981, but the moment that surpasses them all would have to be the birth of his now 9-year-old daughter, Tenzin.  From his opening act for Madonna on her "Like A Virgin" tour to being a three-time Grammy winner, Adam still admits that welcoming his daughter into this world was definitely "right up there" on his list.

I have a daughter.  I don’t know that proud is the right word.  But most psyched moment.  It was right up there when she was born.

Adam is currently promoting the documentary — which he directed — Gunnin’ For That #1 Spot.  The basketball-based film hits select theaters Friday, June 26th.
