Bassist and songwriter Pete Wentz and singer/songwriter Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, 23, attended the preview party for Pete’s new bar Angels & Kings on Tuesday, June 17th in Chicago, IL. The opening also served as a birthday party for Pete, who recently turned 29. The couple expect their first child this fall.

They look great and happy, but I just don’t understand how some people, not just celebs, can were heals throughout their pregnancies. I would be afraid of falling.

ashlee looks great! But I do wonder how celebs wear heels like that while pregnant. My balance was waaayyy off the entire time with both my pregnancies. I wore flats every day!

Ashlee looks great!
I wore heels throughout my entire first, second and most of my third trimester with my first pregnancy while at work (which my doctor didn’t love). With my second pregnancy I wore heels the two days a week I worked and then once in a while on weekends. And with my third pregnancy right now I’ve worn heels only a handful of times when dressing up…I’m too busy chasing after two kids!

She looks fantastic! I really like her hair in this picture, the last few pictures of her I haven’t really liked it. They seem really happy, and I hope Ashlee has a very easy and wonderful pregnancy.

Her heels are pretty thick in the back and have a nice platform to them..they should be pretty comfortable to be in..

she is going to be such a cute pregnant lady. i love the heels. i find mine to be very comfy, if you buy good ones with arch support. i wear heels or flip flops and pretty much nothing else. doesn’t hurt if you can sit a lot too!
