Harry and Georgia Connick attend Tony Awards

Musician Harry Connick Jr., 40, and daughter Georgia Tatom, 12, attended the 62nd Annual Tony Awards on Sunday, June 15th. The event was held at Radio City Music Hall in NYC. Mom is model Jill Goodacre.

She’s a very gorgeous girl. My daughter is around the same age and is interested in a boy and wants to go on a date. I didn’t think I would have to deal with this at her age. I’m sure it will be very innocent but I didn’t expect this until maybe 15 or 16 so I don’t know what to do? Anyone have to go through this with your very pretty girls? See I see her as a little girl but I have to realize she’s turning into a very beautiful young woman. I would just like to keep her innocence for as long as I can. Why do they grow up so fast?

I have some Will & Grace DVD’s, and Harry was in some of the episodes– he was so funny and good on that show!! I think he’s a great actor and a fabulous musician!! This picture of him and his daughter is just so cute. She’s a very pretty young lady.Would love to see a photo of his wife and other kids too

Meaghan-Yeah I am a young mom but kids start dating when they were 7 in my school. Obviously at that age it is innocent. But at 11 or 12 there is a good chance that they are going to be going into the kissing stages. The best you can do is have a close relationship with your daughter and just ask her how things go and make sure you know where, when,what and with who she will be going.
