Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden kept an eye on the paparazzi as he and Nicole Richie, 26, took daughter Harlow Winter Kate, 5 months, for a walk around their Glendale, CA neighborhood earlier today. Joel, 29, and reality star Nicole were recently honored with ‘Golden Pacifier’ awards.

I love Nicole and Joel together and Harlow is so cute, but doesn’t she realize how dangerous it is to put that blanket over Harlow. I know she is trying to keep the sun off her and the paps from taking pictures, but being in that heat is more dangerous. I always feel so bad for Harlow when I see these pictures. She will close her eyes if the sun is at that angle, and we know what she looks like, so take that blanket off. The heat is much worse.

Nikki, I don’t think the blanket is on the baby. I think that it only reaches over the stroller. The baby is not covered with the blanket and such as is fine. I’m sure Nicole knows what she’s doing, too

i feel sorry for harlow all squashed up in a car seat. i think car seats should remain in the car

You know the more and more I see Harlow’s name the more I love it. I liked Harlow from the beginning but I wasn’t sure about Winter Kate but now it just goes together and I love it now …. Harlow Winter Kate 
Nicole and Joel did a very good job naming her …… not that they need my approval.

Babies tend to look at bright lights;one look at the sun, can burn a hole in a baby’s retina….ask an eye doctor. Why do you think they make baby sunglasses? The sun’s rays are much more intense now, than they were a mere 10 yrs ago.
