Gavin Rossdale talks about how fatherhood has changed him

Gavinandkingston Gavin Rossdale was today’s 60-second interview in The Metro, a free daily newspaper distributed in the UK.  When asked how becoming a father to son Kingston James, 2, has changed him Gavin noted that "everything I do and say now I have to stand by."  Having just released his first solo album, Wanderlust, Gavin added,

I want my son to see me play and do shows and think: ‘That’s wicked.’  At the moment he just wants to march around the house to the song from the Jungle Book.  We do that about 17 times a day.

Wife Gwen Stefani expects the couple’s second child this summer.

Gavin is just so yummy. And Kingston…..well there are no words to describe how adorable he is. BTW…..Gavin’s new cd WANDERLUST is great. Dont forget to get yourself a copy. :)

how come noone ever mentions his teenage daughter, daisy

Gavin definitely looks like someone that complements Gwen. He seems like a patient solid guy. I love how they are committed to the family. So many rock stars have not made it. But I think they will. wonder if they will have a little girl next.

I’m just trying to picture Gavin marching around the house, singing a song from the Jungle Book with Kingston. Too cute!

I haven’t seen much mention of his elder recently discovered daughter Daisy….is he in her life at all? I think Kingston is gorgeous, can’t wait to hear about the new mini-Rossdale!

Doesn’t Gavin have an adult daughter from a previous relationship? Whatever happened with that?

- J on

It’s too bad that it’s never mentioned that he DOES have another child (Daisy). She’s not even named in any CBB posts about him.
