Gavin Rossdale talks about how fatherhood has changed him

Gavin Rossdale was today’s 60-second interview in The Metro, a free daily newspaper distributed in the UK.  When asked how becoming a father to son Kingston James, 2, has changed him Gavin noted that "everything I do and say now I have to stand by."  Having just released his first solo album, Wanderlust, Gavin added,

I want my son to see me play and do shows and think: ‘That’s wicked.’  At the moment he just wants to march around the house to the song from the Jungle Book.  We do that about 17 times a day.

Wife Gwen Stefani expects the couple’s second child this summer.

Gavin definitely looks like someone that complements Gwen. He seems like a patient solid guy. I love how they are committed to the family. So many rock stars have not made it. But I think they will. wonder if they will have a little girl next.

I haven’t seen much mention of his elder recently discovered daughter Daisy….is he in her life at all? I think Kingston is gorgeous, can’t wait to hear about the new mini-Rossdale!
