Josie Bissett named MCA Celebrity Mom of the Year

Actress and author Josie Bissett has been named Celebrity Mom of the Year by the Mom’s Choice Awards (MCA).  She graces the cover of the Spring 2008 issue of MCA’s magazine Entro, along with her children Mason, 8, and Maya, 6, and will appear at tonight’s MCA program. 

Josie, 37, has authored two books — Little Bits of Wisdom and Making Memories — which compile stories and anecdotes from parents around the world.  Her first children’s book — titled ‘Tickle Monster’ — is due for release in September 2008.  Mason and Maya are her children with ex-husband Rob Estes, her former Melrose Place co-star. 

MCA is an annual awards program that recognizes authors, inventors, companies, parents and others for their efforts in creating family-friendly media, products and services.  For a list of their other 2008 honorees, click here.

I believe they are officially divorced. Rob filed in August 2005.

Yea they are divorced, josie is now a lesbian. The kids both look like her more than Rob.

Yes Josie is divorced from Rob and it has been reported in tabloids that the “greener pastures” alluded to by her ex is indeed another woman.
