Halle Berry says 'having a baby will open a whole new world'

Oscar winning actress Halle Berry, 41, believes her new status as mother to newborn daughter, Nahla Ariela, almost 11 weeks, will help her career. Halle explains that before her pregnancy her acting roles were limited by her sex symbol status. Halle says:

I feel having a baby will open up a whole new world for me. I think I’ll actually find better roles, because I’ve gotten past being the ingenue and sex symbol.

However, one thing Halle will not being giving up is her time with her baby daughter. Her priorities have shifted and now it is about making time for Nahla. She explains:

I’m definitely going to work less. I used to put so much pressure on  myself to succeed that if often made me very unhappy in my personal life. I felt on the verge of burning out three or four years ago.

Nahla’s father is model Gabriel Aubry, 32.

Don’t wait on those photos because I recently saw her on an interview saying that they have decided that they will not do a magazine cover of the baby. I guess they just didn’t like the idea. But I hope she doesn’t turn it into a Suri mystery baby situation.

Halle will be a good mother, and I know the baby is beautiful. She wanted this for so long. I know no magazine photos, but something, so we can see how gorgeous she is.

How funny is it that Halle’s daughter’s name seems to be from two disney movies (Lion King & Little Mermaid) and then she makes a comment using words from Disney’s Aladin – A Whole New World.

meela, Tom and Katie didn’t turn Suri into a mystery baby situation the media did. Everyone feels entitled to see pictures of these celeb babies. Why? They are not our children and if they want to keep their private live private especially when it comes to their children who are not celebs, well I have even more respect for them.
