Ashlee Simpson-Wentz leaving Beverly Glen Market

Singer Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, 23, was snapped leaving the Beverly Glen Market on Thursday, May 29th. Ashlee and her husband, Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz, 28, just announced that they are expecting their first child. Ashlee is reportedly due in mid-October.

I know yesterday people were saying there’s no way she’s nearly 5 months along…but I believe it. I’m due mid-November with our third and am still wearing my regular jeans at 4 months.

I’m not trying to flatter myself, but I’m built petite like Ashlee so I’m sure we’d carry similarly.

But, although I’m supposedly a month behind her, I’ll be switching to maternity clothes before her…like in a week or two. But again, it’s my third…and I’m 33, not 23!

I have a hard time believeing she is due in October too. I am due in mid-november with my first and while I am still in regular clothes I have a small but noticable bump similar to Ashlee. I am 24 as well, 5’9″, 117 lbs so I would say we have similar builds. I am thinking a November due date is more accurate.

My sister-in-law is due the middle of October… She’s showing, but she could hide it if she wanted. I’m sure. Loose clothes and whatnot. Hey, look at Nicole Kidman – she’s supposedly due in a month or two and she looks 4 months pregnant.

I too find it hard to believe she is due in mid-October. I am due then with ym first, built small like Ashlee and have a baby bump that is becoming impossible to hide. I would guess mid-November or even early December. I guess time will tell………..

I don’t know why people are so skeptical about her being due in October. She’s only 23, this is her first, and she’s very skinny anyway.

I just love Ashlee Simpson so I’m trying to defend her the best way I can. But everyone is entitled to an opinion and I’m not THAT knowledgable about pregnancy bellies anyway.

Anywho, she looks fantastic!

everyone carries differently
I’ll be 29 weeks Sunday and still wearing my pre-pregnancy jeans. I’ve only gained in my tummy area which just recently (2 weeks ago) popped. I’m not that tall, 5’8″
You couldn’t tell I was pregnant until 2-3 weeks ago and then only if I had a tank on.
(I’ve gained 16lbs so don’t go thinking I’m starving myself and baby… I’m eating like a horse and baby measures perfectly.

I think she looks just right. I was due mid-October with my first, and she was born in early October… anyway, I was a teacher so I remember well being 5 months along at the end of the year and no one knew I was pregnant unless I told them. When I came back in August (7+ months along) there was no mistaking my baby belly!

She’s so pretty. She is very petite just like nicole richie and christina aguilera and was very skinny before she got pregnant, so I’m not surprised she isn’t showing much yet. Now my cousin who was 150 before pregnancy and now 3 months along, already weighs 165, so I think from what I have seen it takes the extra skinny girls longer to really look pregnant compared to the women that weigh more from the start.

I read she was due in late october which therefore would make her around 18 or 19 weeks so yeah she looks good! I cant wait to see her baby

I’m not trying to be mean, but I had a feeling she was preggers. She just looked fuller in the face.
As for her being due in October, I believe it. I recently suffered a miscarriage, but even so I made it to 6 and a half months. I wasn’t a petite as Ashlee, but I could have still hide it if I wanted to. And I’m 5’6 and 134 lbs.

I’m 37 weeks pregnant and didnt really show until I was at 30 weeks. This is my first child and I am only 20. So you never know she could very well be as far along as she says she is. Pre-pregnancy I weighed 105lbs, 5″2′ tall. Now I weigh a whopping 142. I was told that since I am so skinny that it would take a while to start really showing and it did. I was also told that bigger builds start showing faster. the more room baby has, the faster baby grows. Which is surprising I would think a skinny woman with a baby weighing in at a possible 8 -8 1/2 lb birth weight would show a looot faster than that. lol.
