Owner Jill Notkin carefully selected two gifts for my children that were wonderful. She sent a large personalized towel with a hood ($50) for my son Ben. Jill went above and beyond when she used his full name — Benjamin (a pleasant surprise, because I figured it would be easier for her to just sew B-E-N). The soft cotton terry has a red minky dot hood and cut out red polka dot letters. I love that my 2 ½-year-old asks for his Benjamin towel. After weekly washings, this towel has held up perfectly with no pilling and the colors (royal blue for the towel and red for the minky and letters) look as wonderful as when the towel came to us.
Jill also sent a sweet cashmere kimono dress ($96) for baby Allegra. Made by Amber Hagen, this adorable red pullover dress features a pink heart with pink trim, a side tie, and is made of cotton/cashmere. Allegra’s not quite fitting in it yet, but will be wearing it soon. It also comes in pink with brown trim and two cupcakes as well as in pink with brown trim and a motorcycle on it. So darling!
