Xavier Nady and wife Meredith expecting first child, a son to be named Xavier

Pittsburgh Pirates’ Xavier Nady, 29, and his wife Meredith are expecting their first child together — a son — this summer. The dad-to-be also shared with the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review that he will be named Xavier, following a long-time family tradition dating back to the baseball player’s great-great-great grandfather 150 years ago.
