05/22/2008 at 02:49 PM ET

Krisdraper_brad_6119641_max_cbb Detroit Red Wings forward Kris Draper, 36, missed today’s practice for good reason — he was at the hospital supporting wife Julie, who gave birth to their third child on Thursday, May 22nd. Kamryn Rose Draper wasn’t due for two more days; however, Julie was induced Wednesday evening. She joins big sister Kennedi, 8, and brother Kienan, 6.

I’m so Happy for Kris & Julie!!! Their other kinds are so cute and nice, and very respectful, and I’m sure the new little girl will fit in wonderfully….

I’m not surprised she was induced. I’m sure they didn’t want to take the chance of her going into labor Sat night while Kris is playing hockey…

Mom Said It

"I had to make a decision that I could sleep with every night. I did feel responsible for the young girls who I probably confused and let down. I apologize for that. But I wasn't trying to glamorize teen pregnancy."
