He’s soooooo cute! (Is he strapped in, though?)

- Mimi on

Sasha is so cute! I think he is a nice mix of both his parents.

On a side note I LOVE Naomi’s shoes! Anyone have any info? (Even though I probably couldn’t afford them any way!!)

- Elyse on

He’s adorable. But it looks like he’s going to fall.

- Julia on

What a big, adorable boy! He looks like he’s really to hop out of that thing and take off running! Too cute!

- Some Mama on

at least he had the instinct to hold hinself. She probably didnt even realized the risk, tough.

- xena on

this is irrelevant but the side of naomi looks like jennifer aniston

How sad is it that the very first comment on here is negative about Naomi and whether or not he is strapped in properly.

Why does everyone always have to be so critical of everything? Can you just enjoy the cuteness of the babies?

- Michelle on

He’s cute. I see a lot of his dad in him too.
10 mos he must be a lot heavier than a newborn but I use my ring sling as much as I can b/c strollers are so tough to get around. I feel her pain here.

- Carrie on

What a sweetheart, so inquisitive

- Adriane on

For those of you who can’t tell it looks like he is holding on b/c she is putting him up the stairs… I doubt that she would not strap him in, if not that’s her baby!!! and he is just too cute for words! I agree with Michelle, this is called “celebrity baby blog”, not “let’s be critical of all the celebrity moms and how they handle their children!” Thanks…

- vanessa on

Where was the criticism? It was an honest question.

- terri on

I have this stroller and there are straps so the baby doesn’t lean so far forward… perfect for when you’re going up on an angle like this (he was probably more comfortable rolling around without the straps). This is just plain common sense and I would tell her if I saw her on the street.

- Jenn on

Shoes Shoes!! I am have been looking for a pair of silver mary janes and these are definitly not the ones from the two zappos links. Anyone know where they are from??

- Heather on

But what if it was indeed a near accident? I dont see the big deal and why there is this tought that celebrity may always do everything in a perfect way because they are model 24 h a day. Things like this may happen all the time with everyone..

As for people pointing it. in this picture what call more attention is not how cute the baby is, but is the fact that he looks almost falling from the stroll.

- xena on

He looks far from “about to fall out” to me. Just sitting & leaning forward. Perhaps she should have put him inside a bubble, THEN into the stroller. Then nothing in the world could ever touch him.

He’s got a very sweet face. Seems like not too long ago, she had a big ol football belly :)

- emily on

He is SO cute!!! He’s all Naomi btw. The curiousity on his face is priceless LOL!

- lissa on

He is such a little cutie! Anyone know if they’ll be calling him ‘Sasha’ for good?

- Sarah on

I don’t think the falling comments are critical, just general observation. The people who were criticising over the coments seems more critical than the origanal comments themselves.

I wonder what they will be calling him too. I personally like Sasha better than Alexander.

Shoes:

I know these are not exactly the same pair, but they are close, and probably more affordable for most of us:

I posted the first comment, and surely wasn’t being critical, just questioning. I love Naomi and her little man, as well as CBB, which is why I post comments. As a mom, though, I can’t help but look at things through “mom eyes.” So I noticed the strap (or no strap). Oh well. We’ve all done stuff like that, right? So I don’t criticize her at all. I’m sure she’s a great mom; Alexander certainly looks happy!

- Mimi on

Sasha’s making a run for it! LOL

Psh. Every mother or caretaker makes a million mistakes a day and if we all had paps following us, we’d have photos just like these for people to criticize.

- Stef on

I find he kinda looks like Tori Spelling’s boy in this picture.

- Cassi on

I have this stroller too and he probably has just the bottom straps on I never use the over the chest straps and having had my stroller since 2005 none of my kids has fallen out yet :-) .

- sarah on

He is very cute- If you look on the pic of the pusher- you see a black bar that runs around the lower stomach of the baby-plus strap between the legs. I guess it is covered by the blanket. This should contain him very well.

- trina on

It’s actually way easier (and safer) to pull this stroller up stairs backwards on the larger rear wheels. Mom can open the door more easily, baby is tilted back into his seat and the big wheels glide up the step with no problem.

- Liza on

Sasha is a beautiful baby, he is getting cuter and cuter and so big.

- Erica on

Here, here Stef!

I don’t have this particular stroller but I don’t use the over-the-shoulder straps either because both of my children *hate* them. They just pull at them and whine, especially my 3 year old. I just use the lap belt and that keeps them in just fine.

Instead of stalking Naomi and snapping photos of her struggling with a stroller with a big baby boy inside AND her bag while trying to get up some stairs, the photographer should have done the polite and civil thing by lending a helping hand. But that doesn’t make money.

- Jessica L. on

The vest / singlet is an organic cotton one from the wonderful Nature Baby in New Zealand – a fave of other mothers like Maggie Gyllenhall http://www.naturebaby.co.nz

- bex on

This is probably so way off topic, but where does the name Sasha come from? Meaning, his name is Alexander Pete — where did they get Sasha? Just curious. He’s absolutely GORGEOUS.

- Chris on

Sasha is the Slavic nickname for Alexander – Liev is Ukrainian.

- Sarah on

Very informative momma’s like yourselves, alsways taught me when trying to go up like the way Naomi is with the stroller is to have the stroller facing foward, tilt the stroller a bit so it hits my belly, move the stroller up forward a bit, and then move on up. Simple! Don’t forget it’s their first, so they are probably still learning things. I don’t think she would ever put that little cutie pie in danger on purpose!

- Christina on

I love Sasha as a nickname for Alexander. That’s a very Russian thing to do, no?

- Kerri on

I have the frog & Sofia constantly pulls her arms out of the upper straps (come to think of it, she does the same thing with her Maclaren too). Toddlers are inquisitive and sometimes mother’s don’t see everything. Let’s not be so quick to judge and assume he simply wasn’t strapped in.

- Morgan on

I just saw a picture of this on some tv show. He leaned himself forward and did indeed nearly fall, but Naomi was paying attention and reached her hands out and stopped him. I don’t think it’s being critical to state the truth that it did look like he was about to fall out. A second after this picture was taken he almost did. No judgments have been implied. She was being watchful and she is doing a good job.

- Steph on

I would probably rather take the baby out of the stroller and then pull the stroller up the stairs! ;)
