A nanny taking a child to daycare? How sad. How far removed from a child could a parent possible be? The very least a parent can do – especially a parent who has all the time in the world– is to bring the child to daycare/playgroup him or herself. This is often the time that a child might share concerns, fears, joys, troubles, etc. Unfortunatley for Sean, his parents are rich, fairly useless celebrities who are doing who knows what instead of caring for their children.

hmmmm figures. So people evaluate the Brit/Fed family situation by PHOTOGRAPHS and despite not coming out and saying they are bad parents, that is what you are essentially implying (if it wasnt you wouldnt mention it)
yet you assume that the whole Ang/Brad family are just sooo wonderful because of the PHOTOGRAPHS you see.

See how people react towards celeb – you praise those you like no matter what and you criticize those you dislike no matter what…

My daughter could have started preschool at 2y10m. As long as the child was 3 before the end of the calendar year they were allowed into the 3yo class. I held her back and enrolled her just after her 3rd bday. I think it’s really important for kids this age to have social activities with other kids their age.

brannan- I don’t see anyone giving britney credit, just stating what they see. Britney is seen with the kids alot more than Kevin. Just because Britney pays for someone to do the public care of the kids doesnt make Kevin some great dad.

I also don’t buy the excuse or reasoning for kevin never wanting to be seen in public with the boys. When did he become 6th Beattle or royalty? The boys are the celebs not Kevin. They get photographed when there with the grandparents, the nanny, or the bodygaurd. Adding Kevin to the mix isn’t gonna change much. If real celebs that are a million times more famous than Kevin can take their kids to school, the park, the zoo, gym classes….etc then why can’t Kevin exactly? That’s why I never understood where he was coming from.

Both of britney’s boys are so cute. Jayden looks exactly like britney, while sean is a nice mix of kevin and britney, but has a bit more britney features IMO. He is adorable.

Just wanted to say that I am a nanny for a “normal” (non celebrity) family with two kids, and I take the older one to preschool when he has half days. Its a great way to get the best of both worlds (the one on one attention from a nanny and the socialization of the daycare.)

I agree with Renee. You can’t make ridiculous assumptions based on one photograph. When I was Sean’s age, my mom and all her friends had a babysitting arrangement where I was always hanging out with other kids not to mention I had a bajillion cousins, so if a photo were taken at random, it wouldn’t always show my mom hanging on me doing things for me. But not all kids have that so they go to preschool or daycare or Gymboree to interact with kids their age. And it would be nice to think that moms take their kids everywhere and are the only ones who ever tend to their children’s needs, but that’s just not true. Many kids have babysitters at some point or nannies or even just involved grandparents or somebody helping mom out here and there.
I just saw the episode of South Park yesterday where Britney was the modern-day human sacrifice (killed by camera) and now with these uncalled-for comments, I see it’s more true than ever.

On a happier note, Sean’s expression is great. He’s adopted the far-off gaze of a Calvin Klein model. LOL

I think it would be very easy to judge the fact that Kevin isn’t seen much with the boys, but honestly, I think that is a GOOD thing. With all of the drama that happens among their family, I think a lot higher of Kevin keeping things pretty low-profile, and not as circus-like as they have been in the past. It would call a lot more unneeded attention on Sean if Kevin took him out like that.

We aren’t with these people 24/7, so we have no way of knowing how much time someone does or doesn’t spend with their children. There is more to life than tabloid fodder and paparazzi photos.

I started both of my girls in preschool at 2 1/2 yrs. old for 3 days a week for 2.5 hours, not for “educational” purposes but for socializing with peers their own age and they love it! They like to be in the “school” setting as it makes them feel “bigger” as my daughter says and she likes to make new friends and play different things than at home. I bet SP likes to escape all the media junk and be a kid at his school!
