Laura Wright believes in being honest with her kids

Actress Laura Wright admits that her daughter Lauren Elizabeth, 9, and son John Michael, 7, have two totally different personalities which keeps life interesting.

We have really great kids — they must take after their father [laughs].  My son is very serious at times.  He is quiet and observes He doesn’t miss a thing.

My daughter never shuts up.  There is a side of her that’s so nurturing and loving.  Last year, she learned about Martin Luther King [Jr.] and his death and what he stood for while he was alive.  She asked me about racism and what the civil rights movement was all about.

Laura was honest when answering her daughter’s questions and she feels that is the best thing that she can do for her kids — be truthful.

I do believe that if you instill good values and you’re honest and answer their questions, you’re going to be okay.  I absolutely believe in sheltering them to an extent, because once the innocence is gone, it’s gone, but you have to be honest with them.

The 37-year-old is married to John Wright.

Laura is a wonderful actress and seems like a really god mom too!She is fantastic as Carly on GH…Laura is in a tragic storyline now and she is totally rocking it! She was ROBBED of an emmy nom this year (in my opinion).

Laura seems like such a great mom, in addition to being such a talented actress. The storyline she’s involved in right now has really allowed her to shine, and if she doesn’t get the Emmy nomination next year, she’ll have been overlooked once again.
