Kobe Bryant awarded MVP honors

Los Angeles Lakers’ Kobe Bryant was named the NBA’s Most Valuable Player on Tuesday, May 6th.  He was accompanied by his wife Vanessa (not pictured) and daughters Natalia Diamante, 5, and Gianna Maria-Onore, 2, for the ceremony.

I don’t care what anyone says about Kobe. He seems like a loving father and I bet fatherhood has had a profoundly positive impact on his life (and his game). I wish him and his family the best!

I know you won’t publish this comment and that’s okay, but I wanted to let you know that I really wish you would not post about this guy. Whether he is a rapist or just an adulterer is up for debate, but he is certainly a creep, and it makes me sick to see his face. Just my 2 cents. Thanks.

Cute girls!

Are those big flower bands in at this time? I seem to see a lot of little girls wearing them. I think they are cute…but I don’t know how they would look on my daughter since she has a small head…

Not a Kobe fan (apart from b-ball) and it has more to do with his overall personality and not so much his indiscretions. That said, I believe he genuinely was terrified of losing his wife and daughter over his bad judgement, and I believe he’s genuinely committed to his family. I don’t like him much, but I’ve observed him up close and the guy loves his wife and daughters something fierce.
