William H. Macy talks about daughters love of reading

In New York to promote his new film Bart Got a Room, actor William H. Macy revealed that his daughters with wife Felicity Huffman –  Sofia, 7 and Georgia, 6 — can’t get enough of a good book.  Sofia, in particular, is "reading voraciously" according to William, who added,

I knew it would happen. Now we have to go and say ‘turn off the lights, put the book down and go to sleep.’ She just loves reading.

The girls count among their favorites Chronicles of Narnia and James and the Giant Peach, the latter of which William says he’s "pretty much got … memorized."

They are such a great couple, very suportive of each other.
How great to see kids that love reading, specially now with all the videogames and tv, not that they are bad, it’s just good to see how parents encourage kids to read and the love of reading.

As a teacher and fellow book lover, reading stories like this makes me so happy. I’m glad to see William H. Macy bringing up such an important topic. Way to go!

Yay!!! I love hearing of children who like to read, who actually want to read. It’s great at a time when a lot of kids are too interested in the t.v, computers etc.
