Keri Russell and River shop for fresh flowers

Actress Keri Russell, 32, and son River, 11 months this week, shopped for fresh flowers at a Pacific Palisades, CA farmer’s market on Sunday, May 4th, then went home, changed River, and went to the Malibu Country Mart. Dad is Shane Deary.

I had to go back and check her age again after seeing the pictures. She almost looks like a teenager! And River…I cannot believe he’s almost a year old. Time flies. And he’s adorable.

He is so handsome! I love how she is always carrying him. I actually thought only new borns and babies that were a couple of months could be put in a carrier. When I become a mom, I’m definitely going to use one! It seems better than pushing a carriage around.

keri is sooooo gorgeous! i don’t know why she’d ever want to straighten her hair when it’s so beautiful curly! i would kill to be able to wake up with my hair looking like that

Keri must surely have a strong lower back because I could not carry my daughter for more than a month in her carrier. I wonder if this carrier she is using can be put backwards? I have seen lots of ladies lately carrying their babies on their backs; and it seems so much more comfortable if you have back problems, like I do.

Yup, it can be used backwards too. Forwards is comfy also because the Ergo has a big lumbar bar. For me, it was the most comfortable and I have back issues. My chiropractor told me he’d rather see me with a kid in a carrier and have the weight spread evenly between my shoulders and back/hips, rather than hoisting the baby on to one hip and carrying her that way — I was throwing my hips out of alignment doing that. The Ergo was a really great solution for me. I have the same colors Keri does, although I like the black/green the best.

I love she takes him everywhere! my son is 4 months and heavier now. I feel it a lot more and can use a stroller but like having him close to me so keep using my sling. I have one of those and a Bjorn carrier..but it goes up to 22 lbs. Anyone know off hand a good carrier for up to a year? This Ergo carrier seems to be decent that way..

the ergo is good for up to about 3yrs old… or whenever the kids just gets too heavy for you.

Keri looks fabulous! I love how she’s always carrying him in a carrier. It seems so much more intimate. I’ll have to think on that when I have kids one day (wayyy in the future!).

And, of course, River is adorable with his crazy blonde hair. I can’t believe he’s almost a year old! Crazy!

How cute is he!!? Just a little doll. I love her hair curly esp circa that lifetime movie about the babysitter she did years ago. It’s good to see her hair going back to that. She is just so naturally beautiful.
