I hope this isn’t violating any rules, but I just found a great diaper that falls between cloth and your traditional disposable, they’re called gdiapers (google it!). You can compost them or flush them and they even have a video on their website of how quickly they break down in the soil! I think it’s like 30 days. But they’re easy to use, very much like disposables, but less impact on the earth. And they have a cute little cloth cover too!

I think it is great if other people want to use cloth nappies, but can I just say that I LOVE disposables. I think they are the best thing ever invented. I try to do my bit for the environment in other ways like being vegetarian and buying second hand baby clothes, but I could not give up my disposables.

shes adorable. as a mama with 3 in cloth its nice to see celebs using them as well.
i also wanted to add bleach never touches my diapers i dont want chemicals on my babys skin.

That baby is cute. Thank you to her and this site for helping me get motivated to find a new nanny job! I had to leave my last one due to breaking my arm (in a car accident, not with the baby). I’ve been kind of traumatized since my accident, but it’s time to work again. Seeing cute babies helps me remember what I’m going for! I can pretend I’m gathering motivation, instead of just doing my usual rounds of web surfing. ;)
