I adore/d stevo and always will my heart still aches at his passing such a shame, what would hurt him more if he knew people were launching attacks on his daughter for being sensible outgoing vivacious and clever!

I just love the Irwins, they rock!! I never met Steve, or his lovely family, but my heart broke when he passed away.
I think Terri has taken great care of Bindi and she always looks her age. Good on ya mate!

Terri looks gorgeous. I Was like WOW!! Not my type of dress but she looks great. There was one epi of the croc hunter and Terri had this magazine shoot,and she was really glammed up..steve was so cute in that epi.
I can just imagine his look on his face seeing her in that dress!!

Bindi seems like a normal little girl, and there is nothing wrong with her being mature.

My oldest is an intelligent child, that seemed more comfy around adults…he played with kids his own age. I have always got compliments on how well behaved he is and etc.

Steve would be so very very proud, i here in the Uk have watched her grown from the little bubs in her dads arms. Of course not being there in person i dont know the ins and outs of everyday life and what goes on behind the scenes etc.
I think Terri seems genuine and Bindi is a well adjusted litttle girl who had a gift handed to her at birth and clearly enjoys each and everday of her life, iam sure there are times she is naughty and moody what kid isnt i have 3 girls and each is different to the next.
Of course she will miss her beautiful father everyday they were so close but who knows if Steve prepared her mentally gently of course for his possible early demise ( he knew he would die young!) and working/ living in a zoo she will have seen death in many more ways than a normal child. and in the grand scheme of life birth death the cycle she may cope with the loss better than some.
iam sure there are days she sobs for daddy but that is natural and baby Bob copes in his own way, being younger and not understanding the whole shabang.
If any my only concern is a certain outside influence a man who i will leave nameless but seems to be a “VERY”strong influence in thier lives (and No i DONT mean BOB snr whom i wholly admire and respect.) he is someone whom iam not sure of or his intentions and am not keen on this of course is only MHO.
Good luck to Bindi kids these days need positive none alcholic/drugged up heroes and heroines i would rather they like Bindi than other teens in Hollywood etc. gaining awards for postiveness and good issues not how drunk or fighting or drugged up they can get!

Leave the kid alone at the end of the day she has feelings and iam sure reading negative and horrible remarks will not be pleasant!
its bad enough there is enough negativity by so called antipodean writers who laughed at her dads death, and GG if i ever meet you i would say the same to your face!

It’s a shame that ‘adults’ would find the need to criticize the fact that Steve and Terri have raised a lovely, poised and charming young lady. I suppose people will always find something to attack.

Bindi was actually named after Steve’s favorite crocodile and his dog. I think the rift between Steve’s dad and Terri was bound to happen. His dad started the zoo and probably thinks he knows what’s best but Steve left a plan for Terri to follow for the zoo’s growth. I know that both Terri and Bindi went through counseling as Terri was concerned that Bindi was not grieving. But the counselor told her that was how Bindi was grieving and was well adjusted. For people to criticize a child tells you exactly what kind of person they are. I’ve seen comments on other websites about people finding Bindi unattractive. I can’t believe people would say that about a child. They both look wonderful I think.

Criticising Bindi for displaying grown-up manners? We should be grateful she is not Alli Lohan or Jamie Lynn Spears. As for their dresses, Bindi’s dress is totally discreet and age-appropriate, very ladylike. Terri’s, well, I must agree, not quite fashionable, but as a lady in her mid-forties, it appears she is telling the world she is ready to fall in love again. It IS a bit daring. I say good for her. This family deserves some happiness.

Has anyone read her biography about Steve? No book has ever made me cry as much as that one- I have to say, Terri is so strong (well, she has to be for the kids and Steve’s sake and to ensure the zoo continues to thrive!) but she is just an amazing woman. Her love for animals and for Steve just blew me away. They were extremely close as a couple, he was her rock, the most important person in her life, apart from her kids- and to have the capability to keep on smiling is just amazing. Her last words at the end of her book, ” Farewell Stevo, I love you, mate.” just made me cry hysterically. Bindi is beautiful and always has been and so is their son Bobby! (They called her Bindi cos when she was born, they said “She’s our little Bindi” which is Aussie for something so they named her that, so cute.) I’m really proud of them and wish them all the best in their futures- Steve would be proud of Bindi!

I just have to say I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that people are criticizing Bindi for sounding too mature. That’s absurd. I was exactly the same at that age, and there certainly wasn’t anything wrong with me. I was smart and an avid reader. I was passionate about learning everything I could. If that made me “too mature” then oh well. Like the previous posters said, I’d rather my future children be like Bindi than Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan.
