Denied: Gael Garcia Bernal and Dolores Fonzi are not expecting a baby

Update: A press release has been sent out that denies all rumors that the couple is expecting a baby together and insists that a romantic relationship between the two does not exist.

It has been published in various publications that Argentine actress Dolores Fonzi and Gael Garcia Bernal are expecting a baby, which is completely false, since they are only friends who have a business relationship as well.

Originally posted May 2nd: People en Espanol is reporting that Mexican actor and director Gael Garcia Bernal, 29, and his on-again-off-again girlfriend for the past few years, Argentine actress Dolores Fonzi, 29 are expecting their first child together.  According to sources, the two, who first met while filming Vidas Privadas, hadn’t seen each other in awhile, but were recently spotted together again in New York City and in Mexico.

Their reps have yet to confirm or comment on a possible pregnancy.

Oops. I wonder how in the world this rumor got started especially since it says they’re not even together. Well I hope they’re happy. I’m sure they will have cute kids someday (with other people of course)!
