05/02/2008 at 09:24 AM ET

Sarahsilv_jimmyComedienne Sarah Silverman isn’t sure if she and boyfriend of five years, Jimmy Kimmel, will marry, but she knows that she wants children at some point.  The 37-year-old told People Magazine,

I might adopt, but we’re going to wait. If you’re going to have kids, you need to have time to give them undivided attention.

Hey now… I thought she was with Matt Damon and he was with Ben Affleck! lol… (just kidding! I realize if you haven’t been watching the show that will make no sense.)

I think they would have really cute kids and of course, adoption is an awesome thing :O)

I think Jimmy has a couple kids already. She could be a stepmom.

Actually, if you read the People article she pretty much says she doesn’t want to get married (she had a quote about not wanting the government involved in her love). She and Jimmy seem down to earth and loving.

whatever happens with having kids, it sounds like she’s got one thing right… you definitely have to have the time for them and to give them all the attention they need.

She’s an hilarious comedianne, but she’s also a levelheaded girl.

Mom Said It

"I had to make a decision that I could sleep with every night. I did feel responsible for the young girls who I probably confused and let down. I apologize for that. But I wasn't trying to glamorize teen pregnancy."
