Yes he can turn the airbag off or if his car is like most new cars these days his passenger seat may have sensors in it that detect the weight of the occupant and based on that they will shut themselves off automatically. If my SUV and my husband’s sedan have this little feature I’m sure his luxury Porsche does as well. ;)

I’m not sure how I feel about the carseat in the front seat of a porsche. Is that safe? Can he turn the airbags off?
