The Spanish Royal family attends Easter Mass
King Juan Carlos I of Spain, 69, and his wife, Queen Sofia, 69, attended Sunday Easter Mass with their three kids and their eight grandchildren; son Prince Felipe, 40, who has two daughters with wife Princess Letizia, 35 — Infanta Leonor, 2 ½, and Infanta Sofia, 11 months; daughter Infanta Cristina, who has four children with Iñaki Urdangarin, 39 –Juan Valentin, 8, Pablo Nicolas, 7, Miguel, 6, and Irene, 3 in June, and daughter Infanta Elena, who has two children with estranged husband, Jaime de Marichalar, 44 — Felipe Juan Froilan, 9, and Victoria Federica, 7.
Before entering the church, the family was received by a bishop (who even was greeted with a kiss from Infanta Leonor!) and posed for the photographers standing outside. During the quick photo shoot, little Leonor kept everyone laughing with her spunkiness, while her baby sister Sofia couldn’t stop waving to the cameras.
After the group shot was taken, Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia posed for a few photos with their two daughters.
