We all love what celebrities wear.But I think we should realize that they are rich and thats their profession to wear such clothes. I think we should get carried away watching all this.

lis- But that doesn’t make it right for Petite Tressor to out celebs’ pregnancies. While Petite Tressor maybe isn’t the best place to shop if you’re a celeb and don’t want the whole world to know you’re pregnant, it isn’t right for Petite Tressor to out their pregnancies, either.

Also, even if a celeb avoids Petite Tressor still might not keep them from outing their pregnancy. Petite Tressor is notorious for making stuff up just get publicity. For example, as janice pointed out, they reported that Britney and Jamie Lynn were shopping for blue things for Jamie Lynn’s baby-to-be…When in fact Jamie Lynn has stayed in the Lousiana area (she has made a few trips to Mississippi, which is where her boyfriend Casey apparently lives) since announcing her pregnancy.

I believe they also reported that Tom and Katie had come in asking about decorations for a baby boy’s room when Suri was about 11 months old (it was actually TMZ that broke the story, but how much do you want to be that it was Petite Tressor who “leaked” the story to them). Obviously, since Tom and Katie still have not had any more kids since Suri, that story was false.

In otherwords, a celebrity can very easily avoid Petite Tressor…But that won’t neccesarily stop the store from “leaking” stuff about them!

I’ve been to the Robertson store and it is a lovely looking store. Unfortunately, my experience the last time I was there (a few weeks ago) convinced me that the staff just isn’t helpful or friendly. I had gone there with plans to purchase a rug and some other items for my son. When I tried to go into the store the door was partially blocked by shipping boxes and it was very difficult to get in or out with my stroller. It was OBVIOUS that I was having a hard time and sadly, not one staff member tried to help me. One staffer looked at me and just looked away. I was the ONLY customer in this small store and got painfully minimal answers to my questions and not one staffer was interested in helping me. Too bad, I was ready to spend money, but after the less than friendly service I decided to take my “non-celebrity” money and spend it elsewhere. Very disappointing and over hyped.

NO OFFENSE, BUT WHAT A CRUMMY LOOKING STORE FROUNT. NO CHARM, UGLY WINDOW DRESSING! I’M SO SUPRISED, WHAT IS THE BIGGGG DEAL. JUST BECOUSE STARS GO THERE???? ANYHOW I HAVE ONE WORD “OVERRATED” SORRY FRENCHY”S BUT YOU DO GOSSIP ALOT TO THE PAPS. I WOULD NEVER GO THERE.. ANYWAYS IT’S ALL ABOUT GREEN THESE DAYS ANYWAYS. BON VOAGE. Your store will not be trendy anymore.

I’m with Tara and Elyse. Petit Tresor has been behind numerous leaks of information. It’s an odd way to advertise yourself as an elite store, especially when you are “leaking” things that didn’t happen…like Britney and Jamie Lynn shopping together for blue things a few months ago. I would feel very uncomfortable going near that store as a female celebrity, pregnant or not.

If you don’t want the world to know you are pregnant…you don’t go shopping on Robertson Blvd for baby items! It seems pretty obvious to me.

I thought the same thing Tara. I thought it was ironic under the “who has registered there” section it says that that is kept private. I kind of chuckled because I have seen so much press about what celebs have registered for what there. Doesn’t seem very private to me!

I don’t quite get the allure of this store. Isn’t this the store with the staff that is constantly outing pregnant celebs before they are ready to tell the public and telling the press/paparrazzi about their purchases, what kind of gender specific clothing they purchased etc.. also, what gifts they received from other celebs. It seems very unprofessional to me. I used to work for Gucci and Neiman Marcus and employees were never allowed to disclose that type of information.

i love that the address has 1/2 below it. that’s so fun.

it’s nice that these women own the store, started it themselves and all. sounds like their dream come true, so good for them!
