Peekaboobaby Nursing Covers: Let your baby dine while dashing
Peekaboobaby‘s motto is "hip nursing covers for moms on the go". Since I’m always on the go (with a very active toddler and a 3 month old) — I grabbed the nursing cover that they sent me for review and out we went.
Peekaboobaby sent their nursing cover in the Pom Pom print (pictured to the left).
I tested it last week at a birthday party — I slipped it over my head and discreetly nursed on the couch. The full coverage was great — I was comfortable and Allegra was happily feeding away. The cotton was soft and comfortable on my always overheating skin. I also liked being able to "peek" at Allegra as she ate (due to the boning in the neckline). When she was done, I wiped her mouth with the very convenient little terry cloth pocket in the bottom corner. The adjustable d-ring strap holds the nursing cover on securely.

I spoke to owner Julie (a mom of 5!!) about why she started her business. She told me via email,
I started my business for a couple of reasons. First, I am a breastfeeder myself and fully believe in the health aspects of breastfeeding. Also I am a busy mom of 5, who is ALWAYS on the go and needed something to cover up while at the older kids’ activities, etc.
Julie started her business after the birth of her 4th baby two years ago. She just had her fifth baby around 7 weeks ago and makes all the nursing covers herself. These nursing covers come in a variety of funky prints and are a breeze to take on and off. I also liked some of of the other patterns available; such as Mango (which would match my Lexie Tote by Fleurville perfectly), Chocolate with pink polka dots, and Geisha Fans. Prices are $32 for one nursing cover and $58 for a two pack. Matching burp cloths are $8.
