This is a gorgeous family! Congrats to them!

- Bugs on

All their children have beautiful names!

- Elizabeth on

The “el” theme (start of both girls names, end of both boys names) is sweet. This is the third recent royal Leonore/Eleonore, joining Infanta Leonor of Spain and Countess Leonore of the Netherlands. I wonder if the name will take off in America soon.

It’s nice that they’ve honored Queen Fabiola (the baby’s great-aunt) and Crown Princess Victoria (one of the godmothers). Anne is probably after the maternal grandmother, Anna Komorowska. All of their children, including the boys, have Marie in their names.

Congratulations! It’s nice to hear that another royal baby made a debut this year!

Do royals often name the godparents from day one?
who are godparents to her siblings?

- Lollo on

Lollo, the other children have the following godparents:
Elisabeth – Prince Amedeo of Belgium, Countess Hélène d’Udekem d’Acoz
Gabriel – Count Charles-Henri d’Udekem d’Acoz, Baroness Maria Christina von Freyberg
Emmanuel – Guillaume, Hereditary Grand Duke of Luxembourg, Elisabeth d’Udekem d’Acoz

Congratulations to Mathilde & Philippe on the birth of their second little Princess!
