Solange to offer sister advice on parenting, not marriage

With Beyoncé‘s secret nupitals apparently occurring in secret over the weekend, Solange Knowles, 21, kept her lips zipped on the topic while doing press on Wednesday. However, she was more than happy to speak about her older sister’s future as a mom and her time spend caring for Solange’s son Daniel Julez, 3 ½.

Whenever Beyoncé decides to have a child, I definitely think she’ll be banging on my door. She’s kept my son over the weekend. She’ll call me like, ‘How do you get this strollerout? And what about the car seat? I don’t know how you do this!’ AndI’m like, ‘People do it every day.’

Despite her confidence in her parenting, Solange shared that marriage hasn’t worked out quite as well for her — she and husband Daniel Smith split in 2007 after three years of marriage. The singer laughed,

I got married at 17 and divorced at 20, so I don’t know if anyone would look to me for advice about that!

I am amazed that “someone” in the Knowles family can actually answer a question. I am so over the big secret relationship, it’s now becoming a game and soon people won’t even care anymore. Wouldn’t it just be easier to say yes we are married and then everyone would move on. Now it’s become the whole cat and mouse game.

I don’t know why everyone expected them to come out with some big announcement. They never have, getting them to admit they know each other is like pulling teeth. I also think it’s refreashing that somebody keeps there business private, which is how I view it. I think they want it private not secret and they are entitled to that. Its their moment. that aside, i love how muture Solange is when it comes to motherhood. As far as Beyonce as a mother is concerned, it will all come to her naturally when the time comes.

Interestingly enough I was in South Africa a few weeks ago and MTV South Africa said, unequivocally, that Beyonce was pregnant. Then I came back home to the States and heard nothing about it, so I tucked that little tidbit of info away. Now she’s married so it makes me wonder if she really is pregnant.

Yes I’ve heard the pregnancy rumor too and I have to say that the timing of her sister’s comments on *motherhood* for Beyonce (out of the blue) really reinforces the idea in my mind:) But it’s true that we will never hear an announcement from these two – they’ve always been like clams regarding anything personal!
