Singer Lionel Richie, 58, and daughters Nicole Camille, 26, and Sofia, 9 ½, attended the ASCAP’s 25th Annual Pop Music Awards at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, CA on Wednesday, April 9th. Nicole’s mom is Brenda Richie, while Sofia’s mother is Diana Alexander.

Are both girls adopted or is the younger one biologically his? I ask just because the younger one slightly resembles him.

Yes Robyn, the youngest girl Sofia is by his second wife Diana, who is Irish, though she constantly tans herself.

I believe that there are 3 Richie kids. Nicole from his first marriage and Sophie and a boy from his second marriage.
Sophie is lionel’s biological daughter. Nicole’s half sister.
But I really do believe that adopted children start to look like their parents/siblings because Sophie and Nicole really look like blood sisters.

it threw me for a minute to see Nicole as the celebrity child. im so used to seeing her as the mum.
Sofia looks like she is going to be absolutely stunning when she gets older, she is so pretty already.

It is not too surprising when your adopted child looks like your biological child, when both children nearly share the same ethnicity. Nicole’s mom is Irish, so is little Sofia’s. Nicole’s biological father, Peter Escovedo, is a mixture of African Creole and French on his mother’s side, though his father is Mexican. Sofia is a beautiful blend of two races, Nicole is of three, and just look at the stunning results!

I have seen Nichole with her little sister before, both girls are just beautiful, and Harlow is going to have that same brown-eyed blonde beauty. But, does anyone know for sure, I think there is a brother in the family as well, between the sisters in age?

Yes, Lionel does have a son. His names is Myles, and he’s probably about 14 or 15 now.

Daze, I’m pretty sure Harlow’s hair is going to be brown like her mother’s (Nicole bleaches her hair). Nicole’s her sister’s hair is getting darker as well. I actually prefer to see Nicole with the light brown hair instead of blond.

Sofia is so beautiful, what gorgeous color hair and her eyes looks hazel/green, she looks a lot like her mom in my opinion. Nicole looks so pretty too. I hope to see pics of harlow soon, curious which parent she favors more. Lionel always seemed like a good dad to me.
