Wallis is a kanton in Switzerland. A kanton is like a state in the US (like she would be called Alabama, Nevada, etc.). For example the famous sking resort Zermatt lies in Wallis.
I’m sure she is not named after the kanton but it’s funny nevertheless. I’d tip that it is a Welsh name.

My gosh. I can’t believe how big Emse, Poppy, and Wallis have gotten since the last time I saw pictures of them. I wonder what his son Bailey looks like.
