Actress Mary-Louise Parker, 43, and children William Atticus, 4, and Caroline ‘Ash’ Aberbash, 1, were spotted out in New York City on Tuesday, April 8th.  William’s dad is actor Billy Crudup.

Ash I believe is what Caroline was called in Ethiopia, so Mary-Louise is probably respecting that!

I thought she was called Ash because of her middle name (?) Aberbash, which very well could have been her full name in Ethopia.

I think “Ash” is such a cute nickname that is also true to Caroline’s African heritage (and a perfect derivative of what I assume could be her birthname, Aberdash)!
