Ans- That’s true, but most of them seem to have good reasons to have waited until they were 40 before having or adopting kids. For example, Marcia Cross has mentioned that she actually wanted to start a family when she was younger, but she didn’t happen to meet the right man until she was in her 40s. True, there are lots of ways for a woman to have a child on her own these days (using a sperm donor and adopting seem to be the most common two), but single motherhood isn’t for everyone.

Other celebs have mentioned waiting until their 40s to have children because, as you mentioned, they wanted to focus on their careers when they were younger. Another common reason celebs wait until they’re 40 before having children….Infertility. In otherwords, some celebs wait until 40 to have children because their bodies (and/or their partner’s bodies) refused to cooperate earlier.

I am not saying that she HAS to have a baby before she is 40 – I am simply saying that a LOT of celebrities go on about having children in their 40s.

Hey maybe she is human and is holding out for a steady, happy relationship before she has children! Or perhaps she doesn’t want them but her “people” have put a spin on the whole thing to prevent her from being judged further!

Whatever the reasons not everyone has to have a baby before they’re 40!

Why does biology have to factor in? Her implication is that she is open to building a family in more than one way eventually…and she does not say that adoption would be out of the question.

In her words: “I would love to [start a family] someday. We’ll see if and how that might happen.”

Ans- She also said “we’ll see if and how that happen”. In otherwords, it sounds like she is considering adoption as a way of building her family. In that case, she would not have to worry about her biological clock.

Here we go. “I’d love to start a family someday.” If she wanted a family so badly, she’d realise that her biological clock isn’t exactly ticking at a steady beat. I’m all for career women, but it just seems to be getting to the point of absurd when women reach their middle age (literally) and still talk of wanting families.
