Gauging reader interest in a previously reviewed Deuter Kid Comfort II backpack

We recently reviewed the Deuter Kid Comfort II backpack carrier (review to be posted April 13th), and the company has graciously offered to give the testing unit away to a lucky CBB reader. As we have only given away brand-new products in the past, we are taking a poll to gauge reader interest in winning the carrier despite it being "secondhand" (just barely)!

It was used for two weeks while Missy reviewed it, but is in pristine condition as the carrier was initially to be returned to the company following the testing period. The Deuter Kid Comfort II backpack is itself valued at $189.  The giveaway would also include a sun roof/rain cover that was not used (tags still attached) with a MSRP of $25.

I would be interested in a “second hand” giveaway. The back carriers have piqued my curiosity but I don’t have the money to invest in one! My daughter is 21 months old and around 26 lbs so we’d get plenty of use out of this since it can carry up to 48 lbs.

I would definitely be interested in it. We go hiking in the summertime and my daughter is now too heavy for our other carriers for long hikes. This would be a great solution for us.

A carrier that was used as a trial for 2 weeks doesn’t bother me in the least! We are looking for something just like this to use for our 22 month old, especially on our trips to dog beach where we try to keep him up and away from overzealous pups!
