Peete family at Kids' Choice Awards

Former NFL quarterback Rodney Peete, 42, actress Holly Robinson Peete, 43, and their children — fraternal twins Ryan and RJ, 10, Robinson James, 5 ½, and Roman, 3 — attended Nickelodeon’s 2008 Kids’ Choice Awards held at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion on March 29th in Westwood, CA.

I wish we saw more pictures of this family! Not only are they good looking, they are committed to each others. Holly has shared the trials and familial strain that Rodney’s Jr.’s initial diagnoses of Autism put on their marriage. Also, I think that Ryan looks like a younger version of her grandmother (Holly’s mom) Dolores, Robinson. They are all such good looking people, are very down to earth and believe in giving back.

Robinson looks a lot like his daddy the more I see photos of him. The twins seem to be a mix, though they take more after their mother’s side. And little Roman, well, he seems to take after his dad as well, but with a bit of Holly thrown in.

I love this photo, and the ones I’ve seen of Holly and Ryan together.

I think all of those boys are the spitting image of their daddy (smile)… how is r.j. doing w/ his autism? i don’t know if i phrased that question correctly… i know that jenny mc carthy says that after exploring a bunch of unconventional things she got her son back… has anything of that sort worked for holly as it relates to r.j.?

Wow! Those kids have grown so much. I remember loving Holly on 21 Jump Street and following her first pregnancy. I didn’t realize it was so long ago. Ryan is going to be one tall girl. She is already almost as tall as Holly, and Holly is wearing heels. They look so happy to just be with each other.
