Madonna says David is "the life of the party"

In an appearance on the Yo on E! satellite radio show, Madonna admitted that she expected the experience of parenting her 2-year-old son David Banda — whom she adopted from Malawi in 2006 — to differ from that of parenting her biological children Lourdes, 11, and Rocco, 7 ½.  The 49-year-old singer says that her expectations were quite wrong, however.  She tells E! "I thought it was gonna be [different], but it feels the same to tell you the truth."  David, Madonna adds, is "the life of the party.”

He loves music, he’s an amazing dancer. … He’s a character.

Madonna criticized the media’s handling of Britney Spears, and revealed that the troubles which have befallen the 26-year-old pop star are a concern for Lourdes.

She knows Britney, (but) she doesn’t really watch TV or read gossip stuff. I think she sort of gets the drift of what’s going on, and I think she feels very protective of Britney.

I’m glad for her that everything is working out. She worked so hard to bring him into her family. And her family did a really nice job of welcoming him into their family.

Her oldest daughter Lourdes is just an amazing little girl. She seems so compassionate and mature.
I recently heard some “protective” and compassionate comments about Brittany Spears that she (Lourdes) supposedly said.
Both kids seem to be very supportive and loving of David. And of course her husband.

Refreshing. Madonna must be well pleased.

aaw madonna said her daughter Lourdes knows Britney Spears personally.Lourdes always loved Britney’s music.She does not like what the media is saying about her.Madonna and Lourdes said lets save Britney instead of condemning her! Lourdes wants to be protective of her.What a sweet girl! I love madonna and her family.She is doing an outstanding job raising her children! Long live the queen!!! lol.

i LOVE that lourdes is protective of britney. LOVE IT!! she shows more maturity in her little 11 year old body than justin timberlake has at 27!!!!! WOW!! a lot of people started to attack britney when she was going “crazy.” i do have to say that whoever it was that kept asking me for proof that she wasn’t on drugs (what kind of proof did you want anyway?!?!), THAT I TOLD YOU SO. being told by your “manager” that the medicine he’s giving you is going to help with your imbalance doesn’t count as HER taking drugs. she THOUGHT he was helping her. apparently you DON’T know everything looking in from the outside. you see what the media wants you to see, as i’ve said all along. since the truth is FINALLY out, it pleases me to no end to know that people who once shunned her, are now sticking up for her. 2 points for madonna for raising such good hearted children.

hmmm…. that’s the fourth comment i’ve made that hasn’t been posted. are we not allowed to speak of miss spears and her life at all now? i don’t see how anything i said was offensive. i praised lourdes for her maturity and shunned people for attacking britney when they didn’t know what was going on???? if anything was considered offensive in ya’lls eyes, you could have atleast edited it to leave the praise in, as you’ve done in the past.
