ErgobabycarriersuckingpadSo, the name "ERGOBaby Sucking Pads" leaves a little something to bedesired —  But it says it all.  And the product issomething babywearing mamas have needed for a longtime.  It’s a simple concept, really: 100% cottonterry cloth bands that Velcro around your ERGObabycarrier straps so that baby will always have somethingclean to suck on.

Every mama who has worn her baby knows that as soon asthey’re old enough, they’ll start sucking on whateverbits of carrier they have access to.  All the toys inthe world aren’t going to distract them from thosenice cloth straps positioned right at mouth level.  Sonow we can protect our carriers and ensure that ourbabies are always sucking on something that’s clean(provided we remember to wash the Sucking Pads, thatis!).

ErgobabysuckingpadAvailable in two subtle colors – Mocha or Cream – theSucking Pads come in a package of two and can be usedon any soft structured carrier.  They’re evenreversible, which I look at as more time betweenwashes – but maybe I’m just lazy!

The Sucking Pads are inexpensive, unobtrusive, and soeasy to use.  ERGObaby sent me a pair in each colorand they’re both deliciously soft and lovely.  Puttingthem on is a breeze — two seconds (you literally justVelcro them around your straps) and we were ready togo.Awkward name, aside, the ERGObaby Sucking Pads arewonderful!  I’m  loving using them when my daughter isin our ERGO – not only for the reasons ERGObaby madethem, but because now I have something to cover up thelittle stains left on the straps from when my son usedto suck on them!
