Seal isn’t Leni’s dad, is her stepfather. Leni’s dad is Flavio Briatore (Renault director) 
Angela’s note: Flavio has not been involved in Leni’s life and Heidi makes a point of stating that Seal is Leni’s father.

I love this family. I have 4 kids, 3 of which were very close in age, just like Heidi’s!
A friend of mine has a similar situation. Her 14 month old daughter’s biological father is not involved at all. When she was was pregnant (about 6 weeks pg) she met Matt, and now they are married and expecting another child. Matt is Maddie’s dad even if its not in the genes. Just like Seal!

I LOVE that you guys list that Seal is her Dad. It is so true and I have so much admiration and respect for him. Its like the saying goes…”anyone can be a father but it takes someone special to be a dad”…or something like that!

I agree with Annie – In every other post you mention the childs biological parent, so why make an exception with Heidi ??
Sarah’s note: No, we don’t. In the case of Seal and with Peter Andre, who raises Harvey as his own, we refer to them as the dad. Other people may be the biological father, but if the mother or dad has come out and said that he is the one who is a parent to the child, we respect that and refer to them that way.

I agree with Sarah and others. The genes don’t make a dad. A dad is someone who raised the child, reads the books before night, takes you to the activities and is there for you every day and night and wants you and loves you and your mom. That’s a dad.

Have you heard Seal talking about Leni? He’s in love with that child. In 4 years have you ever heard Flavio say anything about Leni? Well, the only thing he said, was that Leni wasn’t his daughter and that Heid cheated on him….what a dad!

Awwwh Leni is going to be just as gorgeous as Heidi and I agree that Flavio FATHERED her but Seal is her DAD and there is a big difference. Since this is the way all three adults are content with I see nothing wrong with the way CBB stated it.

When people will realize that conceiving a child is sooooooo not the same thing as to be a dad???
Seal IS Leni’s dad. He’s with Heidi since she was pregnant. He was with her when she gave birth, when Leni got sick, when Leni said her first words, gave first steps…
Moments makes parents, not blood.
