Dern-Harper family prepare to depart from airport

Singer Ben Harper, 38, and his wife, actress Laura Dern, 41, prepare to depart from Los Angeles International Airport in California on Wednesday, March 5th with kids Ellery, 6, Harris and Jaya, 3.  Harris’ mom is Ben’s ex-wife Joanne.  If anyone knows Harris’ age, please e-mail us or leave a comment.

You’ve got the children in the first photo mis-identified. Ellery (the boy)is next to Ben, then Harris, then Laura with their daughter, Jaya.

These children are all beautiful. Jada looks a little like an older, darker haired version of Shiloh Pitt.

Love Jada’s soft curls. Its nice to see beautiful curls from time to time. Given how the desire to have board straight hair is all the rage now–you rarely see natural curls in girls after 12–sometimes the flat ironing becomes routine at 11.

The older daughter looks a lot like her father. She’s pretty. Nice blended family.

I don’t think Jaya looks anything like Shiloh not even a darker version but I do agree with the curls comment. I had no idea Laura and Ben had two kids I always thought it was just one.

All three of the kids are adorable, but Harris is seriously gorgeous. I love how well she seems to fit into her dad’s “second” family.

I’m not sure, but i’ve read that harris was really young when laura dern was pregnant… If i remember it well Laura and ben went together few moments after harris birth… (ewwwhh)… anyway, Harris and her lil brother may be a year or 20 months old different.
But i really don’t know about charles age…

In that link from Dawn, Ben says he has three kids.. aged 1 to 9.
This must be from before Jaya was born though because he also has a son named Charles with ex-wife Joanne.
Charles must be about 15.

I was on this flight! I knew she looked familiar but I couldn’t place her face. They were sitting in first class (it was a Delta flight).
