Fatherhood is the one thing Kevin Costner is proud of

Actor Kevin Costner, 53, has accomplished a number of things in his lifetime, but he counts fatherhood as one of his greatest.

Fatherhood is a huge challenge, but it’s the one thing I’m really proud of.

Kevin and his wife, Christine, welcomed son Cayden Wyatt nearly 10 months ago and since that moment, life has a new meaning for the couple.

We are very happy. Cayden is the middle of our lives and we enjoy every minute we spend with him. I’m very proud to be a father again. And yes, I love it when I give Christine a little break and I get to spend some time with Cayden by myself.

Kevin has four children from previous relationships — Annie, 23, Lily, 21, Joe, 20, and Liam, 11.

I know^ claudiazz, don’t you hate that?! I can’t stand seeing people out with their kids either bundled with no hat or shoes or not properly covered at all! Nice looking family, don’t get me wrong, but sometimes, a little sense goes a long way.

I don’t think it’s that cold. Kevin is wearing a light sweater and Christine is wearing a blazer. Let’s give them a break.

A “little break”?? Ha! Go ahead and give her a BIG one. And it shouldn’t be considered a break–heck, you are his dad. It’s parenting, Kevin.

wow! the parent police are out on this one!! Cayden is dressed just fine. My kids always used to kick their socks and shoes off at that age or pull them off. And, lets not over analyze every little word! So he said he gives her a break. Big deal! He is gushing about being a dad. He obviously loves his kids.

What about Liam? Kevin never sees his little son. I’m sure Kevin is good dad to his four kids from Cindy and Christine, but you can’t really be called a great father unless you love all your children equally.

Has anyone seen photos of Kevin with Liam? Or know how old he is now? You just never see them together as a family, like Liam visiting his father for the summer. The baby looks like Christine. He’s really cute. Normally Christine likes to have her photo taken, so I’m surprised she’s looking away. Boy, once a baby arrives, things do change.
