Jeri Ryan welcomes second child, daughter Gisele Lynn

Actress Jeri Ryan, 40, and her husband, chef Christophe Emé, welcomed their first child together, a daughter, on Sunday, March 2nd at 6:51 a.m. in Los Angeles, CA. Gisele Lynn Emé weighed in at 7 lbs, 13 oz, and joins big brother Alex, 13, from Jeri’s first marriage. Jeri’s rep tells People,

Both parents are thrilled. Jeriis resting comfortably and Christophe is playing the part of proud newpapa quite well.

Last September, Jeri and Christophe announced that they were expecting a honeymoon baby; in November, we found out the baby was a girl whom they hoped to give a French name. Over the winter, Jeri posed for an extensive spread in Plum magazine. Jeri had been due this week.

Yay!!! I was just thinking the other day that Jeri was due soon. That little girl is probably gonna be as beautiful as her mom.

Alex might end up as hot as his dad, hottie politician Jack “Im not the movie character”, Ryan in a couple years.

Well I think she has the same due date as Halle Berry is she due this week too. I would be surprised if Halle didn’t have her baby this week . I think one way or the other Halle will have a c-section because she is diabetic.

Diabetics don’t automatically need c-sections. She may have one, but it won’t just be because she is diabetic.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the name. It’s on my list too, but with 2 L’s – Giselle. I had in my head that they would chose Colette, I don’t know why. I guess because Constance Zimmer has a French guy too and that’s what they chose for their daughter, so it stuck in my brain.

Im curious about something. I don’t watch Shark much (I forget when it’s on! urgh..) but was Jeri’s pregnancy put on the show or does she just stay behind the desk alot??
