Isla Fisher and Olive at Mercer Kitchen

Isla Fisher and daughter Olive, 4 months, leave Mercer Kitchen today in New York City.  The 32-year-old actress is in town filming Confessions of a Shopaholic.  Dad is actor Sacha Baron Cohen.

That is a 7am Enfant Le Sac Igloo carseat/stroller blanket. They are the most phenomenal blankets! Worth every penny if you live in NYC or other cold city where you walk outside a lot!

An infant carrier weighs at least 10 pounds…why would anyone carry one around with a baby in it when they could strap a sling or wrap on?

Well…I just thought *duh* it’s super cold outside….but still….I wish more people would hold their children!

i totally agree kbcain!

i mean, it’s ok to carry it around in the first month or two, but by 3 months, it’s definitely a strain on the back lol I see people carrying their 8-9 month old in a carseat around the mall and wonder how on earth they do it heh

well anyways, Isla looks amazing! and baby Olive is so sweet! i think she looks more like her dad.. well not in this particular pic obviously lol

I’ll take a wild guess and say that the reason she’s got the baby in a carseat is that at some point she needed to get her into a car

Maybe she’s carrying her in a carseat because she arrived and left the restaurant via car and it’s something for the baby to lie in if she sleeps during restaurant time. Simple as that.

Maybe I’m the exception -but I took my baby around in the carseat for a while. While eating out or shopping -before he could sit up.

I took my baby around in the carseat quite a bit also, she often fell asleep in it and I didn’t want to wake her.
