Brandy talks about raising a kindergartener

Kindergarten has been a learning experience for not only 5 ½-year-old Sy’rai Iman Smith, but also for her mom, R&B singer Brandy, who says she’s "learning so much about myself and her," especially the importance of "patience."  Adds the 29-year-old,

[Sy'rai]‘s learning how to read because she’s in kindergarten. She wants to read everything. She thinks she can read everything.

Sy’rai is Brandy’s daughter with ex-partner Robert Smith.

Its pronounced Suh-Rah. Sy’rai Iman Smith.

Its pronounced like the saying “Que sera sera” or “Whatever will be, will be”.
