I dont understand why is she telling us that she knows the sex of the child, if she doesnt want to tell us about it! And her dress doesnt look good at all :D

Sarah’s note: She didn’t want to say she knows, but Dave Letterman pretty much browbeat it out of her. ;)

She looks so young! It’s hard to believe that she will soon be a mother. She’s looking wonderful though (even though, I have to say, the dress isn’t the nicest).

Nad- Jessica isn’t the only celeb who’s done that. For example, Melissa Joan Hart is currently doing the same thing. She has said that she and Mark know the sex of their soon-to-be born second child, but will not be sharing.

If I am remember correctly, Brad and Angelina did the same thing when they were expecting Shiloh. I am guessing that most celebs who announce that they know the sex of their unborn baby (or in a few cases, babies) but won’t be sharing is to get the media to stop asking them “Do you know if you’re having a boy or a girl?” “So tell us, is it a boy or a girl?” etc. constantly.

Right CelebBabyLover, Even Melissa did the same thing- But I was just hoping they wouldnt tell us at all that they know and as Sarah corrected me that Jessica didnt really want to say anything about the gender, but David kinda got it out of her
I am just thinking why would one hide? :S Are they thinking that saying what gender they are having is going to jinx something? Just something I dont quite understand thats all :D

- Nad on

I think a lot of parents like finding out the gender in order to prepare and have things ready for when the baby arrives but keep the element of mystery to the birth by making it a surprise for everyone else. That’s a compromise I can definitely see myself making.

As for the dress-yeesh. I normally love Jessica’s style, but this is a major no-no. She looks like a tiered wedding cake.

- Lauren on

hahahahah Lauren that comment was so funny- wedding cake :D

The dress looks okay to me, but it amazes me how un-pregnant she still looks.

- Caitlin on

I actually like the dress!

she looks amazing :)
