Celine Dion and family visit African Children's Feeding Scheme center

Singer Celine Dion, 39, her son René-Charles, 7, and husband René Angelil (not pictured) visit one of the centers of the African Children’s Feeding Scheme in Soweto, South Africa. The organization provides meals for poor, orphaned and abandoned kids. The singer kicked off her world tour yesterday in the country.

I wish she would cut his hair. Everytime I see Rene I have to remind myself that she’s.. ooops he is not a girl.

If you won’t cut the boy’s hair, why not braid it and put a pink ribbon in each. He is a boy and not a girl and it looks silly.

Everytime I see a picture of him without reading the caption first, I always think he’s a girl. I know a lot of boys have long hair, but his is very long and then with the side part and the pretty wave going through it — I’m not trying to sound mean but, that’s always my first thought.

Celine’s daughter, uhm… I mean son, seriously needs a haircut.

What is with all these little boys with long hair these days!?

Gotta love that Lynyrd Skynyrd shirt René has on!

Rene is beautiful. I remember reading something from Celine after he was first born about how much she loves him and I thought he was such a lucky child to have such a dedicated, loving mother. I wish their family all the best.

René seems to be taking a different musical direction to his mother. I wonder if she minds at all? She seems to be encouraging it if his hair is anything to go by?
