Denied: Jenny McCarthy not pregnant

On last night’s episode of Chelsea Lately host Chelsea Handler made an interesting statement about her good friend Jenny McCarthy, when she announced (via television camera) to Jenny’s boyfriend Jim Carrey "by the way…Jenny wanted me to tell you she’s pregnant."  However, Jenny’s rep tells Us Weekly that Chelsea was just joking!

Jenny already has a son, Evan Joseph, 5 ½, from her previous marriage to John Asher.  She and Jim have been dating since 2005. Jenny had previously said that she is done having children.

I thought at first she must be joking but it really didnt look like it. She looked like she was really telling the truth. I was kinda hoping it was true. Oh well.

I have read Jennys book regarding her son, and I can understand after her frustration and hard work with autism, why she has said she is done having kids. As a mom of 2 ADHD kids I can honestly tell you It is ALOT of work.

do we know the reason behind her not wanting anymore kids is the autism??? I have a son with mild autism and a myriad of disabilities and it wouldn’t stop me from having another…in fact I want another child. I tend to think…if I can handle everything thrown my way concerning my son…I can handle ANYTHING!!!! I think Jenny could too. Of course if she only wants one child…that is her decision to make!! Her son is adorable!

It wasn’t so much an interesting statement as it was just a joke. She looked at the camera laughed and that was it. Who took this seriously? :)

Sarah’s note: I know, I saw it last night too and knew it was a joke. I couldn’t believe how many emails we had about it in the tips box when I woke up! Oh well.

tink1217 – she did say on a few pit stops during her book tour that she did want more cihldren initially – “but the first one kicked her ass”
So I do think that Evan’s health issues are a major reason she is done. Don’t forget he also has a seizure disorder and went into cardiac arrest before.

I have 3 kids. My middle son has autism and we were DONE after him. It’s a huge commitment for therapy and also we had to think of our older son.
My daughter had other plans and decided she needed to be here. We were NOT happy about the pregnancy and was terrified of going through it again.
However – nothing has helped my son with ASD more than his baby sister (who also has her own set of medical issues!)

I can understand her being DONE. I have a 6 year old autistic son – I love him to pieces, but it’s heartwrenching to watch his severe lack of progress. I get sadder by the day. He’s essentially still 2 years old, with little signs of forward movement. Hubby and I had plenty of sunshine blown up our butts from the doctors in the beginning – being told he seemed very high functioning and would get more normal with age. Essentially, we were told, he was just a very mild case of it. Over time, it’s gotten a lot harder – mild case my tush. Our daughter is three, almost 4 -we hoped she would be able to help him. To an extent, she does. Through her though, we were anxious to finally experience more of the joys other parents experience. Being done with diapers, sippy cups, etc. Hearing a child of ours’ voice… However, it became evident by the time our daughter turned 3, that my son wasn’t our only case of autism. While she is actually, extremely high functioning – it just makes it harder to watch her, and realize, how far the gap between the two of them really is. Would I trade either one of them for ‘normal’? Heck no. But I sure am getting my butt kicked here. Can’t say I’ve genuinely smiled in months. Every day is ground hog day at our house. Yet my mom still asks when the next one is coming. Is she kidding? I’m not up for more heartbreak.

J- I never seen her laugh I guessed I missed that she looked at the camera and smiled. Not laughed.

And here we go… Smirk, smile, small laugh, etc; it was the point that it was a joke and it was made with humor.

Regarding yet another comment that involves more nit picking, thank goodness nobody seen how I look when I made a comment that I can’t post here. ;) (rolls eyes)

I was comminting On how I never seen her laugh I guessed I missed it. Geez it cracks me up how so people get so ruffled about stuff. I would hate to live my life that way.

Hi

I think Jenny McCarthy did not love to to her boy friend and she thought she is not pregnant.
